NATIVE ARTIST MARKET

As part of Virtual Celebration 2020, Sealaska Heritage Institute shifted its popular Native Art Market to an online format, inviting participants to submit short videos for SHI’s YouTube live stream and statewide broadcast on 360North. Below is a list of artists who are participating in Virtual Celebration and their contact information.

The goals of the market, in part, are to support the perpetuation of Native art traditions of Southeast Alaska with the quality and aesthetic forms that gave rise to its distinction and to promote the production of those Native art forms which are endangered.
