Helen Oro is the operator of fashion label Helen Oro Designs Inc. Helen is Plains Cree from Pelican Lake, Canada. Traditional culture is an inspiration for her modern-day looks; she takes First Nation beadwork and designs to make modern accessories and statement pieces that leave lasting impressions. Not only does Helen create one-of-a-kind designs, she is also building opportunities for Indigenous people aspiring to pursue careers in the fashion and modeling industries.
